This project was to make a design that worked in a print format as well as a digital one. My goal here was to provide an interesting and beautiful infographic about something that always seems to come off as mundane. The solar system is incredibly interesting and I wanted an infographic that felt as "cool" as the solar system actually is. Instead of going with a conventional image of the planet itself, I decided to use images of those planets to provide the texture and color of each page. This freed up the opportunity to create an artistic representation of each planet in the form of the icons on each page. It started as the folded print piece and adapted into an ebook to provide experience working within various media for the same project.
