Real Monsters was a brand new geology / general education class that needed to get its name out. This poster was made to do that. The monsters illustrated on the poster are prehistoric "monsters" that are actually discussed in the class. I wanted so be somewhat accurate to the curriculum while also making something stylized and dramatic. Much of the inspiration for the poster came from classic Godzilla posters.
