This poster was designed to celebrate Marie Hopkins' achievements and to educate as to who she was. My goal was to create a poster with old black and white images that didn't look or feel old. My solution was to add a gradient map to the images, changing their color slightly while adding color to the type for visual interest. The poster was displayed in high schools across Idaho as an educational and inspirational device. It is also helping support the newly-established Virtual Museum of Idaho, which contains many fossils discovered by Hopkins.
