Wildfire Infographics

As part of the Idaho Museum of Natural History's "Living With Fire" exhibit, I was able to design infographics regarding fire behavior and firefighters. Since one of the main audiences of the museum is children, I wanted to design bright, colorful infographics that were legible and fun.

I took a very geometric approach to these, using perfect circles and right angles, among other things, as often as possible. Part of my inspiration was Google's "Material Design" in which everything is designed to appear tangible. In these infographics I used that same idea by adding effects to make the objects seem layered or made of paper.

Each infographic was accompanied by text, so not all information is displayed on the graphic itself. Just enough information is displayed within each image to accompany the text while remaining simplistic and clear.
