This logotype was inspired by fonts like Adobe Caslon Pro. I wanted to experiment with fairly high contrast serif fonts and disconnected sections in each letter. The need for disconnected sections led me to the name "apex." These four letters allowed me to design four characters that could have disconnected sections.
