The 2019 Western Idaho Fair's ad campaign centered around a group of anthropomorphic fair animal characters. There were multiple illustrations of these characters for various promotional applications. One application we came up with was to use looping animations for live videos on social media. For this project I adapted these illustrations, optimized them for animation, then made loops.
My goal with each animation was to have one primary movement and a few smaller supporting movements to add depth and richness to each piece. There were limitations that came from working with illustrations that were never made for movement, but the project provided a unique challenge that was enjoyable to work through.
