For the 2021 fair, we at CLM decided on a bright, colorful, psychedelic style. As our chance to announce the return of the fair after its 2020 cancellation, we wanted the video ad to be bold and eye-catching. I suggested using animation to fully utilize the color and punch of our concept.
Using a few existing illustrations as style reference, I was able to build a color and movement-filled world to showcase the primary draws of the fair: rides, food, and concerts.
